Anthony Clarke on Service, Storytelling, and the Restaurant Brands That Stick

“Have faith the size of a mustard seed. That’s all you need to move mountains.”

Most people don’t think of passing out club flyers as a gateway to entrepreneurship. But for Anthony Clarke, that moment on a South Beach sidewalk in 2009 was the spark.

What started as $15-an-hour entry-level work turned into something deeper: a fascination with human behavior, storytelling, and the mechanics of influence. That led to a nightlife media company. In 2014, he co-hosted a podcast to interview and learn from entrepreneurs. Eventually, after early agency experiments, he launched what would become one of South Florida’s most trusted names in hospitality and restaurant marketing: ACC Unlimited.

Raised in a middle-class household in Sunrise, Florida, Anthony credits his parents—his father an immigrant, his mother born in the U.S.—with instilling a relentless work ethic. “We knew poverty was right down the street,” he says, “but my parents made sure we never felt it.” His father, once a KFC worker and newspaper deliveryman, eventually became a lieutenant with the Broward Sheriff’s Office. His mother, now an account manager in healthcare, worked more than a dozen different jobs over the years to help keep the family afloat.

That example stayed with him. So did the drive to do something of his own.

Anthony’s early ventures (flyer promotions, nightlife photography, media coverage for clubs) weren’t about partying. They were his training ground for understanding customer attention and brand value. In 2017, he launched his agency under the name ACC Branding. A few years later, he rebranded as ACC Unlimited, leaning into a promise: no limits when it comes to client service.

“People don’t just want what they paid for,” Anthony says. “They want to feel like they got more.”

That mindset has earned his agency accolades, loyal clients, and millions in managed ad spend. But the journey hasn’t been easy. He made the leap from paralegal to full-time entrepreneur only after months of juggling both worlds, and missing key calls because he was stuck at his day job. Even with momentum, he’s had clients disappear, checks bounce, and plans fall apart. But he kept going.

Today, ACC Unlimited provides digital marketing and creative content solutions specifically for restaurants. The decision to niche down, Anthony says, was scary but essential. “You feel like you’re cutting out possibilities. But the more we focused, the more we grew.”

His advice to would-be entrepreneurs: Learn everything you can from your current job. Save up. Wait until your side hustle demands your full attention, then go all in.

And if you’re still hesitating?

“Have faith the size of a mustard seed,” he says. “That’s all you need to move mountains.”
